Procon LD202 – 24v Dual Channel Loop Detector + Base
The Procon LD202 24v single channel loop detector and base can be used for either a free exit device or a safety device. Offering both pulse and presence relays, it can switch between detect and un-detect easily. The detector connects separately to two inductive loops, buried just below the road’s surface. Upon sensing a vehicle, a relay switches to operate the function the device is set for. In this case, the two loops can be used for different purposes.
Functions include, but are not limited to, Free Entry, Free Exit, Safety and Directional Control. Induction loops work via magnetic detection of a metal mass (a vehicle) and not as a pressure pad, meaning they wont pick up people or animals.
All things considered, this device can offer you both safety and free exit / entry in one.

INSTALLATION
This device must be used in conjunction with a buried inductive loop cable (sold separately) and should only be installed by a trained and competent person, following instructions at all times. Above all, it is imperative that the slot for the cable is clean and free from dust and water.
