DESCRIPTION
The BFT Pillar B 800 SS is a hydraulic security bollard, measuring 275mm in diameter and 800mm in height in a smart stainless steel finish. The bollard comes with a rear reflective strip for increased visibility during darkness plus the integration of an LED light crown. Ideal for commercial premises where very intensive use is required, to secure the entrance or add additional security.
Available in two operational formats, Fail Safe, meaning the bollard lowers in the event of a power failure, freeing the passage, which makes this option most suited to public areas, the second version, Fail Secure, is particularly suitable for government buildings and airports as the shaft rises in the event of a power failure, ensuring security levels are maintained.
Please note, this is the bollard only – you can buy the control panel and access control separately or look at our bollard kits. These bollards are designed to work with the BFT Perseo control panel, able to operate up to 4 bollards in sync.

INSTALLATION
This should be carried out by a professional installer. A complete risk assessment is essential to ensure a safe installation and that all electronic devices and connections meet with current guidelines. A suitable soakaway is a necessity as flooding can occur.
